Tackling heat islands with knowledge

 

Together with to other towns in Murcia, Torre Pacheco is working on a use case focusing on urban heat, a pressing issue all over Spain and Europe.

Merging data from different sources they develop strategies to minimize the summery heat by identifying vulnerable areas and applying particularly effective cooling mechanisms, using High Value Datasets (HVD).
